(AP) - Metro-North has suspended some service in Connecticut because of a brush fire near railroad tracks in Milford.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said on its website Monday evening that westbound New Haven Line service is suspended from New Haven and eastbound service was being held at Stratford. Buses were transporting customers to other trains.
The fires did not appear to be threatening any buildings or homes. No injuries have been reported.
