Cloudy skies and scattered rainfall did not hinder attendance Saturday for the Soundside Music Festival 2024 in Bridgeport.
Tom Russel, co-founder of the music festival, said 32,000 people are expected to attend.
"Very exciting, fans are through the gates, music has started, and the fun has just begun," Russel said.
Saturday's musical performances included the Goo Go Dolls, Boyz II Men and highly anticipated headliner Noah Kahan.
"He's really a rising star and the bands before him. And then tomorrow really just the cream of the crops," Russel said.
A hiccup occurred in the line-up for day two when headliner Foo Fighters backed out days before the start of the festival. Jack White and Greta Van Fleet were announced as co-headliners.
"We've really found a place that's big enough, open enough and just in the perfect location," said Russel about having the festival at Seaside Park.
