With gas prices at all time highs, some southwestern Connecticut drivers are looking to alternative fuel sources like ethanol. Saab?s Arrow X, which is on display at Westchester County Airport, can run on 100 percent ethanol. That means it burns a little more fuel than a normal car, but releases almost no emissions. General Motors owns Saab and officials there say many models are already on the road that can run on ethanol or regular fuel. However, getting ethanol is a problem. It is sold in Sweden and parts of the Midwest, but right now ethanol-only fuel is basically unavailable in the Northeast. Related Information
