Drivers are once again feeling the pinch in their pockets as gas prices are on the rise ? up 15 cents a gallon from just one month ago.
The latest AAA reports indicate that the national average for regular gas is topping at $2.31 a gallon. But local gas station prices seem to be reaching at least $2.40.
A Mobil station owner in New Canaan says corporate headquarters informed him Monday that the price of fuel was up 5 cents, forcing him to pass on the increase to customers. Industry leaders blame investors for this latest hike.
