    Stamford 7th grader wins state's Doodle for Google student contest

    Judges chose the best rendition in the state of the search engine logo based on creativity and artistic merit.

    A seventh grader in Stamford won a statewide Doodle for Google student contest.
    Rhea Sadhu, from Strawberry Hill School, won the competition.
    "I thought about the theme a lot and I'm really grateful to be myself and I wanted think about everything that allows me to be myself," said Sadhu.
    Judges chose the best rendition in the state of the search engine logo based on creativity and artistic merit.
    This year's theme for students to work from was "I Am Grateful."
    One winner was chosen from each state.
    Next week, the national winner will be selected to have their doodle appear on the website for a day.
