The man suspected of holding up a Stamford bank last Friday was arraigned on robbery charges earlier today. Police say 37-year-old Corey Madgette walked into the Citizens Bank on Atlantic Street, handed the teller a note and claimed he had two bombs. The teller handed him cash before he fled the scene, according to authorities. Madgette was arrested yesterday in Waterbury. Police say they tracked him down using a fingerprint left on the note. Investigators say Madgette has an extensive criminal record and had just been released from prison when the robbery took place. Bond was set at $100,000.
