A Stamford family has a little bit of closure Friday after police arrested five men in the dragging death of a young father.
Police say in August, Mike Castillo was dragged along East Main Street after a dispute at a nightclub. Authorities have been investigating the killing for months. State prosecutors are now charging the suspected driver, 19-year-old Gilbert Nazarian, with manslaughter. Four other men were also charged in the incident. All five men are currently out on bail.
Castillo?s wife says she wants justice for her husband. She says what occurred the night he was killed was murder, not manslaughter. The family?s attorney is planning to hire an outside expert to look at the official police report. The family hopes more serious charges will be filed against the five men.
