A 59-year-old Stamford man was found dead Monday morning after a shooting at a Super 8 Motel.

Police identified the victim as Angel Samaniego. His body was discovered around 10:30 a.m.

Police say they believe this was not a suicide at this point. They say they will know more once the autopsy is complete. Police say a motive is unknown right now.

No other details have yet been provided.
