A Stamford man is facing six and a half years in federal prison in connection with three bank robberies in 2020.

Frank Penseiero admitted to taking part in a robbery at a People's Bank in New Canaan, along with two other robberies.

The getaway car from the New Canaan theft was found burned about a half mile from the bank. Another man was convicted of state charges in this case.
