Stamford police say they are concerned that gang violence is increasing in the area.
Police say they made two arrests in connection to a recent fatal shooting at Uncle Buck's Laundromat.
Authorities say there were seven shootings in Stamford in July, two of them fatal. Police say the victims of all of the shootings have been uncooperative and would rather take measures into their own hands.
Police also say they are seeing illegal guns come into the city from New York and Bridgeport, and they believe that's a factor in the rise in crime.
