11h agoStamford Public Schools Board of Education has approved adding the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr to its school calendar.
The district says students will have one day off to mark the holiday, starting in the 2023-2024 school year.
Next year, students will have off to mark the holiday on April 10.
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan.
