A Stamford hair salon is giving back to their customers who have supported them a year after their closed their doors.
Owners of La Jolie Salon tell News 12 that Saturday was the perfect spring day to recognize their clients.
The pandemic forced them to close their doors for three months after being in business for more than three decades.
They were forced to do curbside pickup for clients, and are now hoping to give back to the people that kept their business going.
Customers arriving at the salon Saturday were entered into a raffle and could win different hair products. They were also treated to a goodie bag on the way out.
The business is still operating at 50% capacity and plans on phasing in more people once customers and staff feel comfortable.
Co-owner of La Jolie Salon Cheryl Van Voorhies says it’s been challenging being closed, but people are starting to feel more comfortable.
“We are excited for the future,” Van Voorhies says.
