1h agoThe New Jersey Office of the Attorney General has released police body camera video from a deadly officer-involved shooting that happened on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened at a hotel on Route 46 in the Pine Brook section of Montville. The attorney general says that police officers were at the hotel to arrest James Allendale who was wanted on attempted murder charges.
Officials say that Allendale started to shoot at police officers, and that is when the officers fired back, killing him.
They say that a gun was found next to Allendale’s body.
