State police: Man killed in wrong-way crash on I-95 in New Haven

State police say Jimmie Lee Wilson was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when he collided head-on with a flatbed truck, causing it to catch fire around 2:30 a.m.

A West Haven man was killed Wednesday in a wrong-way crash on I-95 in New Haven.
State police say Jimmie Lee Wilson was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when he collided head-on with a flatbed truck, causing it to catch fire around 2:30 a.m. Police say Wilson was killed and three people in the truck suffered minor injuries.
They say it happened on the southbound side on the Q Bridge.
A portion of I-95 was closed between exits 51 and 47 due to the crash.
