State police: Motorcyclist dies after car collides into bike on Route 25 in Trumbull

Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision around 10:20 p.m. north of Exit 6.

State police say a motorcyclist from Naugatuck has died after a car crashed into him on Route 25 south in Trumbull Wednesday night.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision around 10:20 p.m. north of Exit 6.
They say a motorcycle and a Honda Accord EX were both driving in the left lane when the car collided into the back of motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, 44-year-old Abraham Martinez, was thrown from his bike and administered CPR by EMS workers on the scene.
Martinez was transported to St Vincent's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The accident is under investigation.
