The Connecticut State Police reported a busy New Year’s holiday period, responding to nearly 2,700 calls for service from Monday to midnight on New Year's Eve.
During this time, troopers:
- Pulled over 651 vehicles
- Arrested 11 people for DUI
Responded to 145 crashes, including:
- 8 crashes with injuries
- 1 fatal crash in Windsor
