A tractor-trailer crash, fire and fuel spill closed I-84 Tuesday, state police say.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. on I-84 East near exits 11 and 13 on the Newtown-Southbury line.

The cleanup lasted all day. No injuries were reported.

The highway was finally reopened in both directions just before 5:30 p.m.
