The Steve Wilkos Show, now in its 17th season, is the second longest running syndicated daytime talk show in current production.
Taped in Stamford, the show touches on hard hitting topics like substance abuse and domestic violence.
Wilkos says he never dreamed he'd have his own hit talk show. He served in the Marine Corps for seven years and then, like his father, was a Chicago police officer - until a friend changed his life.
With almost 30 years in television, Wilkos says he wants to host his show for a few more years until it's on the air for 20 years.
