STORM WATCH: Tracking storms for Thursday with chance for heavy rain, gusty winds, hail

News 12 meteorologists are tracking showers and storm chances through Thursday.
They say the risk for severe weather is likely on Thursday with heavy rain, damaging winds, quarter-size hail and a possible brief tornado. 
The best chance of the storms will be Thursday afternoon through the evening. These storms will be pop-up in nature.
Drier conditions and lower humidity return Friday evening into Saturday. 
Beautiful sunshine with temperatures in the low-80s takes us through the first half of the weekend before another opportunity for storms arrives Sunday afternoon/evening.
