Storm Team Watch Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit met with students at Stillmeadow Elementary School in Stamford Wednesday.
He spoke to 85 kindergarteners.

As part of their studies, students recently tracked a week's worth of weather by keeping a journal.
They have also learned about the different seasons and the positions of the sun.
Teacher Carolyn Tschinkel says students found it interesting to learn how the weather impacts them on a daily basis.
"We talked about it, we said we watch Jonathan in the morning because we want to know what we should wear, if we are going to be able to go out for recess, if it's going to be sunny. Do we need an umbrella with us and our raincoat?" says Tschinkel.
