Thunderstorms and downpours made for a miserable night to be on the roads in Connecticut.
Several roads statewide were closed off in areas under railroad bridges that were flooded.
The issues varied in different places. In Brookfield, a tree crashed down on a shed. On Kings Highway in Fairfield, the puddles were nonstop.
Residents tell News 12 they are relieved that this week's storm hasn't been as bad as last week's storm.
A flash flood watch remains in effect in northern New Haven and Fairfield counties through 8 a.m. Tuesday.
