Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk hosted its annual Witches, Vampires and Ghosts tour this past weekend.
The tour highlights Connecticut’s history of witch hunts and witchcrafts.
According to volunteers, the tours are for everyone, including child-friendly tours.
Volunteers also say it’s a way for them to give back
“The inspiration was to do something for the community of Norwalk and because the gentleman who originally built this house came back to build this house loved Norwalk, and also to raise money,” says volunteer Cecile Roth.
The money raised will go toward improvements to the mansion.
The tours run next weekend as well.
