Stamford Model Railroad Club holds annual holiday show

A Stamford tradition is back, but only for a limited time.
The Stamford Model Railroad Club held its Holiday Show Saturday night.
For the last 78 years, the show has taken place the two Saturdays after Thanksgiving in the basement of St. John's Episcopal Church.
The mechanical model train runs on 6,000 feet of track, passing detailed houses and buildings.
Members say the show offers visitors a unique experience.
"We've got people now that have been coming for generations and I think that's wonderful. There's not that much out there that's like this anymore," says Kathy Slinsky.
The show will also take place next Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
