Police in Bridgeport say they're seeking a person of interest in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting of a 12-year-old boy.
Police say the person of interest was in a small SUV and may have been targeting someone who was with the victim. They say the suspect may have had an ongoing dispute with the intended target.
Police say Clinton Howell was shot once in the chest Tuesday night outside his home on the east end of the city. Police say there were at least two other males with him at the time.
Police say they have a lot of physical evidence and surveillance video. They have also spoken to a number of witnesses.
"I can't bring him back but I'm sure going to get justice for him and his family," says Chief AJ Perez.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 203-576-TIPS.
