This week, Chef Jamie McDonald from Bear’s Smokehouse in New Haven shows Tina Redwine how to make bacon wrapped meatballs.
Bacon Wrapped Meatballs
1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup Panko
1 tsp Salt,
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic
Thin cut bacon
Bear’s Rub
Directions:
Mix pork, beef, panko and spices in a mixing bowl
Form into golf ball sized meatballs
Cut bacon pieces in half and wrap each meatball securing with a toothpick
Coat each wrapped meatball with Bear’s Rub
Bake in oven at 350’ F for 30-40 mins, until bacon is crisp
