Police release holiday enforcement stats: 30 arrests, 1,300 tickets

Connecticut police have released some stats from the holiday weekend enforcement.

Connecticut police have released some stats from the holiday weekend enforcement.
So far, there have been 30 arrests for violations of operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Police are also reporting more than 1,300 tickets issued -- 473 for speeding, 46 seat belt violations and 31 distracted driving violations.
The good news is there have been no fatal accidents at this point this holiday weekend.
