Connecticut's tax-free week for back-to-school shoppers has officially kicked off.
Connecticut shoppers are expected to save nearly $5 million during the 19th annual event.
The 'no-tax' applies to clothes or shoes priced at less than $100 both in-store and online.
It runs until Sunday, August 24.
