New numbers from the Connecticut Department of Health show a more than 30% jump in the number of state schools that fell short of federal guidelines for vaccinating kindergartners.

New numbers from the Connecticut Department of Health show a more than 30% jump in the number of state schools that fell short of federal guidelines for vaccinating kindergartners.
The department says 134 schools across the state had at least 1 in 20 kindergartners not vaccinated in the 2018-2019 school year.
Springdale Elementary School had close to 1 in 10 kindergartners not vaccinated.
Other standouts include Coleytown in Westport where the percentage was 12.5%. The percentage at Redding Elementary was 16%.
