New York Waterway has recently added additional bus service from Port Imperial in Weehawken to the American Dream megamall in East Rutherford.
Buses will leave the terminal every hour during the week, as opposed to the few trips the buses have been making since American Dream opened. NY Waterway officials say that as more attractions open at the complex, there is a possibility more bus service will be added.
“We probably will definitely be adjusting the schedules of the buses, because this is all new to everybody,” says NY Waterway’s Jennifer Schuck. “Transportation is what we do. We move people every day. But we’re always adjusting our schedule to meet the needs of those that are taking the service.”
Tickets from Port Imperial to American Dream are $7 for a one-way trip. They can be purchased at the ferry terminal.
