Residents at the Edgehill senior living facility in Stamford had front row seats for a special holiday performance of the Nutcracker.
The senior living facility recently hosted the Connecticut Ballet to perform the Nutcracker for it's residents.
Brett Raphael, Artistic Director and Founder of Connecticut Ballet says it's important to bring the joy of the ballet and the holidays to seniors.
"These folks have been through a lifetime of enjoyment of the arts and appreciation, and now things are a little more limited shall we say. So to bring them the energy and the excitement of the Nutcracker which is all about the holidays is a fantastic sharing experience."
After the performance there was a question and answer session which gave the residents a chance to interact with the dancers.
