Report: Rumors of Patriots QB Tom Brady moving to Greenwich are unfounded

Greenwich residents who thought they might have a six-time Super Bowl champ coming to their town will reportedly have to dial back their excitement.
Rumors have swirled about the possibility that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady could be moving to Greenwich -- but new reports suggest that story may have been over-inflated.
Boston-based radio station WEEI reported this week that Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen had moved into a $13 million stone manor in Old Greenwich. The story was widely circulated, with even Gov. Ned Lamont tweeting a welcome to the couple.
But Tom Curran of NBC Sports is now reporting there is no Brady home in Greenwich, and there never was.
With the Brady family's Brookline, Massachusetts home reportedly on the market for $34 million, the Greenwich rumor helped fuel speculation that Brady could be retiring or changing teams ahead of the 2020 season.
Brady is a free agent after his team's playoff loss in the wild card round.
