A Stratford pizzeria is delivering a thank you to health care workers at Bridgeport Hospital, who are working hard to keep people safe during these difficult times.
Carlo Salerno's father started Salerno's Pizza, which is open for takeout during the coronavirus pandemic.
Salerno says while being self-quarantined at home for two weeks, he watched news coverage and wanted to help people working at the hospitals.
He took two car loads of 60 pizzas each to Bridgeport Hospital, and says he still hopes to do more.
The hospital says it is grateful to Salerno's Pizza, and wants people to social distance and remain safe.
