Gas prices are decreasing in Stratford and consumers are hoping the drop will continue.
Two weeks ago gas prices were up to $75 per barrel. Currently the price has dropped to about $71. Gas experts say as long as there are no major hurricanes to damage refineries, consumers should see a slow trend of decreasing gas prices.
Many consumers say the extra pocket cash is needed.
