The Stratford Health Department is trying to make back-to-school preparations easier for families by offering a quick and easy way for students to get their physicals and vaccinations.
Parents are encouraged to bring their kids to the Health Department for physicals and vaccinations. Physicals cost $75, the first immunization is $20 and additional shots are $5. Anyone with Husky insurance is covered for the appointment.
The back-to-school immunization and physical program begins Aug. 16 and runs through the end of the month. Appointments are required.
