Gov. Ned Lamont announced a $2.4 million state grant for renovations to Stratford's South End Community Center.
 
The grant will go toward expanding after-school programs, expanding building capacities and adding office space.
 
The funding is being released through the Community Investment Fund 2030 – a state grant program that supports economic development in historically underserved communities across Connecticut.
