Several students at Derby High School recently came down with the contagious hand-foot-and-mouth disease.
Dr. Zane Saul, at Bridgeport Hospital, says people who get the disease develop painful blisters on their hands and feet and in their mouths.
School officials say they have disinfected the entire school and that Friday night's football game has already been postponed.
Doctors say there is no specific treatment for the disease.
