News 12 Meteorologist Steve Teeling says humidity will rise Saturday and the possibility of scattered afternoon and nighttime storms looms, some potentially severe with strong winds and hail. Sunday may start with an early morning shower but is expected to clear up by the afternoon. While Monday and Tuesday have the potential for more scattered showers and storms, Tuesday looks promising, although an isolated thunderstorm remains possible.
NOW & NEW: Overnight, mostly clear and pleasant. Saturday will be partly sunny and turning more humid. A few scattered storms are possible in the afternoon with more storms possible at night. Some of these storms may be strong to severe with gusty winds and hail.
NEXT: Sunday is looking mostly cloudy with a very early shower possible in the morning although it looks to clear by afternoon. Monday we may see more scattered afternoon showers and storms with Tuesday a bit better although a thunderstorm cannot be ruled out.
