STORM WATCH: Heavy rain drenches Connecticut into morning

UPDATE - A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Fairfield County until 2:45 a.m. 
Rain will be closing out the workweek in Connecticut with localized street flooding and flash flooding possible overnight through Friday.
There also may be some thunderstorms overnight, but the showers will end Friday morning and slowly move out of the state.
The rest of Friday will be cool and less humid with high temperatures near 70 degrees.
The first weekend of Autumn is expected to be beautiful with sunshine and highs in the low- to mid-70s.
FRIDAY: Morning rain ending early with clearing skies in the afternoon. High of 70.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. High of 74.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. High of 72.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 72.
