A Jewish academy has expanded to include a primary school to accommodate families who recently moved to Connecticut due to the pandemic.
Tamim Academy in Greenwich opened with kindergartners and first-graders who spend as much time outside as possible, and even start the day in outdoor classrooms.
The Chabad of Greenwich already offered pre-K, but decided to start teaching older children as new families began asking for a Jewish day school in the area.
The schools says it plans to offer more classes as children get older.
