A state court Monday delayed the expected layoffs of more than 500 New York City teacher aides.
The city's Department of Education is expected to file a reply to the decision with the Court of Appeals - the state's highest court - in hopes of overturning Monday's ruling.
Parents say they're happy the teacher aides are staying in classrooms for now.
