A 14-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized Tuesday morning after being struck by a car in Greenwich.

The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Hillside and Fairfield roads.

According to police, the teenager was attempting to cross the road when he collided with the vehicle, striking his head against the front windshield.

The teen's condition remains unknown.

The driver cooperated with authorities, and the incident is under investigation.
