A 14-year-old was hospitalized with minor injuries after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle in Fairfield.

The incident occurred Sunday around 4:45 p.m. in the area of Meineke at 94 Kings Highway East.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The teenager was transported to the hospital for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries.
