Bronx residents will soon be able to lace up their skates at a temporary public ice rink in Van Cortlandt Park.
The tennis courts will be home to the mini rink while construction continues on the full-sized arena, which is expected to be installed by this time next year.
Many residents are excited about the chance to hit the ice without traveling far, but some community leaders say the Parks Department hasn't provided enough information about details, including cost of admission and a specific opening date.
