Tesla's first showroom in Connecticut opens at Mohegan Sun

Tesla's first showroom in Connecticut has opened at Mohegan Sun.
The car company has not been able to open stores in the state because its business model is to sell directly to customers.
Connecticut law requires car makers to sell to dealers, who in turn sell to consumers. Opening the showroom on tribal land allows Tesla to get around that law.
The casino says potential buyers can test drive different Tesla vehicles on the resort property and pick them up there too.
