Union workers are out in full force showing their support for striking Sikorsky workers Thursday. Some are calling the rally along Route 110 at Sikorsky Aircraft's Gate 2 the largest labor union protest ever on the East Coast, with estimates that as many as 10,000 people may join the protest. The union is hoping that this show of force will send a message to their employer as well as the rest of corporate America. Strikers have been picketing against Sikorsky for three weeks and the company remains firm on the issue of increasing employees? payments for health insurance.
