The Throgs Neck Little League met the Jaws Little League on the baseball diamond Thursday in the District 22 senior division championship game.

Jaws? Raynaldo Bobet hammered the ball to deep left in the bottom of the third inning for a home run. Jaws took the lead 4-2. Jaws extended its lead to 6-4 in the next inning with a home run from Danny Regalado. At the top of the seventh inning, Throgs Neck?s Frank Donnelly sent the ball to deep center, leading to a two-run homer.

Throgs Neck won the championship 7-6.
