NYCHA activated its Emergency Operations Centers throughout the five boroughs Wednesday due to the consistent high temperatures.
NYCHA says it holds biweekly meetings to prepare for possible power outages and other possibly safety issues. On top of cooling centers at NYCHA properties, they’ll have water stations available.
