I-95 in Bridgeport reopens following tractor-trailer crash

State police say a tractor-trailer and camper collided around 4:30 a.m. – causing both vehicles to burst into flames.

The northbound lanes on I-95 near Exit 27 in Bridgeport have reopened following an early morning accident.
State police say a tractor-trailer and camper collided around 4:30 a.m. – causing both vehicles to burst into flames.
The extent of any injuries were not immediately clear. All traffic was diverted off of Exit 26.
Both the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the state Department of Transportation were on the scene.
