News 12 Connecticut's Shosh Bedrosian was at Westchester County Airport Thursday.
Clinton Henderson, The Points Guy, provided tips to Bedrosian about what to do if your flight gets canceled due to weather.
"If an airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to a full cash refund, don't let them give you a voucher. But the other part is the airline will try to get you on the other flight, so you shouldn't be absorbing that cost necessarily," Henderson said.
News 12 spoke with a pilot from American Airlines who says wind will be a serious factor Friday with flights. It's important to make sure travelers have a plan, as he says flights likely will be delayed and canceled.
