Trumbull EMS is demonstrating lifesaving techniques today in honor of Damar Hamlin's #3 for Heart CPR Challenge.
It's been just over a month since Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after making a tackle during a game.
He's on the road to recovery and wants to make sure everyone knows how to perform CPR.
Hamlin says his #3 For Heart CPR challenge represents three easy steps to save a life.
Hamlin has teamed up with the American Heart Association for the challenge.
Step 1 is to learn hand-only CPR through a 60-second tutorial.
Step 2 is to donate to the American Heart Association to fund CPR education and training.
And Step 3 is to challenge three friends to do the same.
Show your support by posting a picture holding up heart hands with #3forheart.
Trumbull EMS staff are demonstrating CPR, how to use a defibrillator, and more.
